Bio
I generally do not post when I can't be lighthearted about something, though there are exceptions. I am over 21 years of age and it is legal for me to view any material I care to view. I do not hold others responsible for my personal reactions.

I'm an artist, also a retail lackey. I can type, sell, file, call, radio, organize, calm others, make tea and coffee, cut mats, frame things, bake, clean, build, decorate, brainstorm, plan, present, represent, not drop priceless art objects, answer the same question a thousand times a day, make small talk, follow up on details, write and speak intelligently, carry out plans, guide tours, sweep for several hours a day, and deal with artists and other customer service nightmare creatures, in case you want to hire me. I am a muralist searching for a wall.

I complain a lot, and I post lots of recipes. I used to live with a menagerie and several roommates in a suburban house. Now I'm living in an urban apartment with some roommates and some fish. I am a lesbian and an atheist. I do my best to be kind.

I friend people randomly because I think they are amusing or captivating and wish to know more. I intend it as a compliment. You can be assured that if I like your entries, I will probably read all of them.

You can find me under this name at Myspace, del.icio.us, and the Feast of Fools community. That's a seriously good podcast, I can't recommend it enough. Oh, and I'm at StumbleUpon. I guess if you really liked my taste you could just turn your computer into the blnkfrnk channel. You can find more detailed biographies there, but I mostly post here. I figure you can learn enough from the context of my entries that I no longer need the really long bio I used to have here. I realize this one is pretty long, but it's nothing compared to my follies of yesteryear.

I keep this journal because it's an experiment with communication, and a "to do" list. It's also easier than writing to all my correspondents, because I often have the same news and there's only so many ways to say it. I have another livejournal right now that I used exclusively for the details of my internship during the summer of 2005 at the Morris Graves Museum of Art in Eureka. As part of the class requirements, I had to keep a log of activities, which you can see at [info]mgmalog2005. It is mildly interesting, and no longer updated.

My trail name at Atlas Quest is OuPhrontis.
My username at LibraryThing is blnkfrnk, and my library is outdated by about two years.

I used to play WoW but I quit (mostly. I'll grind your fishing!)

Should you have any information, however slight, on the Pasadena, CA mural reading "'My people are the people of the dessert,' said T.E. Lawrence, picking up his fork" that was partially destroyed in an earthquake, please do not hesitate to contact me. I want to know everything about it. It's a minor obsessions with me. I will pay postage for news clippings; if you are the artist, I will call you long distance on my own dime.

If you want to talk to me, I have a gmail account with this username. I might not get back to you immediately, but I am listening.
